Lovely laburnum!
Laced with a silky texture,
That cools the eyes, lifts the spirits,
Locks golden, like rays of sunshine!
Flowers of good luck, so charming,
Flowers of hope, like the beaming sun,
Drooping down in lemony bunches,
Flowers of sweet dreams, of gentle love!
Admitting a bright new year,
Auspicious golden laburnum,
Blooms of summer, so alluring,
Alighting moments of joyful wonder!
My sleepy morning eyes half open,
My guardian angel leading the way,
Gently led by a hand so trustworthy,
My heart full of love and hope!
As I enter the hall of prayer,
A strong aroma envelopes me,
The sweet scented jasmine,
Appealing, healing and so pleasant!
Seated before an array of wonderful gifts,
Slowly lifting my eyelids to glamorous objects,
To see through the mirror of self reflection,
Sights, thoughts of abundant miraculous powers!
Adorned by flocks of golden blooms,
Adorable ‘Krishna' playing his melodious flute,
The attractive blooms sprinkled around Goddess ‘Lakshmi',
Angelic ‘Goddess Sarasvati' tuning her ‘Veena' with melody!
Every lighted lamp glowing with laburnum,
Every God and Goddess adorned with laburnum,
Coins, jewels, silks, fruits, enriched by laburnum,
Every gem, precious stones glittering through laburnum!
