For Every Heart That's Found True Love Poem by ANDREW BLAKEMORE

For Every Heart That's Found True Love

Rating: 5.0

What is to become of me?
My future seems so bleak,
I cannot find a way to joy
Or happiness I seek,
If only someone needed me
But sorrow's all I've known,
For every heart that's found true love
Another beats alone.

The silent nights so lonely as
The passing hours go by,
Gazing at the stars above
Within the winter sky,
My tears shall fall for evermore
I'll never smile again,
For every heart that's found true love
Another's filled with pain.

The moonlight shines so brightly now
It seems my only friend,
And tries to bring me comfort but
My hurt shall never end,
As frost now forms with deep intent
And yields a bitter chill,
For every heart that's found true love
Another never will.

Ouch, yes, the gloomy flip side to every sunny day. 'The moonlight shines so brightly now/It seems my only friend, ' The desolation shines thru. You've succeeded in making loneliness beautiful.
