For Little Vyomi on Her First Birthday
(12th June 2023)
Your smile, so innocent, so cute
It brightens up my day as I hold you
What are you thinking, little baby?
Does your Grandma's lap feel like a soft cushion?
Do you want to tell, how you love me?
Do you want to be cuddled and loved?
When you smile, my glooms get vanished
All worries are dissipated
I find my childhood in your baby smile
So lovely, so adorable!
Little angel, May God's blessings
Be with you always.
May He protect you in all difficulties
May He guide you on the path of truth
With His mercy, may you grow up
To be a loving and kind human being.
It seems as if this baby's smile is shining straight into your soul like a sunbeam, and for a moment you are like a planet orbiting that source of soul-light.

'....To be a loving and kind human being.' YES! May Vyomi grow up to be 'just like' ଜେଜେମା' Bharati! ! ! !
Thank you Bri for your many comments and stars.I again thank you for introducing the Odia word ଜେଜେମା in the place of Grand Mother. In English it will sound like 'J J Maa'.We have two different words for grandmothers for father's side and mther's side.
We call Grandmother of Mother's side as 'Aai' and Grandmother of father's side as 'J J Maa'Like wise Grandfathers of parents are called 'Ajaa' and 'J J Bapa' respectively.
