For So Long Poem by MAHTAB BANGALEE

For So Long

Rating: 5.0

For so long
None came to me, nothing came
Many times have passed silently
Green to yellow leaves, then grey
Fragrant petals in withered fame

For so long
No inkpot and quills touched me
No feathers drew the dyed tongue
No drizzling quenched the lungs
Blue sky greeted the day of cloudy

For so long
No letters, no words, no sentences
No poems came to me even you
In nothing I found myself to review
In the bared gap I lost me to express

In the reversed stream of the life's flashback
Waiting I'm under the dark site of the wise lamp
To wander on the Thinker's Invisible Wings' ramp
I've to withdraw the life of the robotic track

For So Long
POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I feel honored. Poet Yiyan Han sent his anthology 'Thinker's Invisible Wings' where he compiled my poem " You Are My Poem" . Though for so long I've been absent from writing or expressing myself through poetical words yet after receiving the book on 29/05/24 I felt to write something instant. This writing is the result of my instant expression.
