For The Gems And The Glitter, I Twitter.... Poem by Sylvia Frances Chan

For The Gems And The Glitter, I Twitter....

Rating: 5.0

FOR THE GEMS AND THE GLITTER I TWITTER….

for the gems and the glitter
we keep making poetry bitter
we also love the twitter
to please and greet the latter
oh, that's for the shreds
the torn pages of our minds
who is so nice
to lend me a helping hand for the battered soul?
this gesture and this help keeps me whole
all day all night
a whole year
without a tear
with a lot of pure
enjoyment
worldwide
I will travel again
sans corona-van
but constantly a fried egg in the pan
for my creative consumption
i have the ability
to be closest to my family
despite job and jubilations
during my congregations
and attending congress
fulfilling my work as a poetess
having met the new generation
they write poetry
to rap together
in a group-song
been back
from that track

I don't know anymore where I belong,
my sanity is whispering to me, you are Sylvie
for special and lovely poesy….

We love the tweeter making poetry better. Although it is bitter for a while still we add sweetness and grow. Poetry is amazing always. A brilliant poem is excellently penned...Full 5 stars! ~

A very lovely poem. A reader can sing and dance with this marvelous poem. So mellifluous when read. I can read and read these lovely lines. Yes, we can do many things with Poetry. An encompassing art, we can deal with everything. We can give wisdom and insight by the power of words.. We can paint through the words that create images and we can make the world cry and smile with the emotions we evoke in our words.
