Rebecca Moore

Freedom - Poem by Rebecca Moore

A man who wanted to be free
Who wanted out of his life and into a new one
A man who was caged for life
Day after day of no hopes or dreams
When he saw a crack of light full of hopes and light
He opened it to a hole and got away from his jail
Constructed of damage of cold stone
He flew away into the sky of better dreams
Of better hopes
A man who wanted to be free...
And is.
