Perhaps it is the capitalization, perhaps the repetition, but there is an energy of proclamation here that is ironically usually reserved for the opposite end of a love relationship—the beginning. Aside from a few typos and a few awkward rhyming moments, I enjoyed the energy of this piece, and how it wandered through various aspects of the pain of experiencing love. (cont)
(cont) I'm glad you broke off the repetition when you did; I think the timing of that was well done. (Some pieces forceably carry a repetitive phrase far beyond its effectiveness and into the realm of irritation) . Nice writing, good poet, and congratulations on POD.
