Genius Child Poem by Langston Hughes

Genius Child

Rating: 3.8

This is a song for the genius child.
Sing it softly, for the song is wild.
Sing it softly as ever you can -
Lest the song get out of hand.

Nobody loves a genius child.

Can you love an eagle,
Tame or wild?
Can you love an eagle,
Wild or tame?
Can you love a monster
Of frightening name?

Nobody loves a genius child.

Kill him - and let his soul run wild.

Wow! Really this a beautiful, innocent and soft song for a child which is very motivational poem. If no one loves a genius child this provokes thought and brings sadness. Soul of genius child ever shines. A marvelous poem is chosen on this day as modern poem of the day....10

Nobody loves a genius child.//Kill him - and let his soul run wild. (I'm sorry for my English) Dear Langston Hughes, I think that there is no need to say more about the essence of the reality of our human society that nobody loves. I like the trembling nervousness that unloads all your rage for this human destiny. Find the baby you love after dying. Riza
