Give Me Courage By Gail Brook Burkett Translated Into Hindi
केवल समतल राहों पर ही न चलना चाहूँ,
न ही मैं कमतर बोझ उठाना चाहूँगा.
सदा शक्ति और कर्मठता का वर मैं मांगूँ,
और दुर्गम राहों पर ही चलना चाहूँगा.
इतनी हिम्मत मुझे दीजिये के मैं ऊंचे,
पर्वत शिखरों पर अपने दम से जय पाऊं.
कठिनाईयाँ जितनी भी आये मेरे सम्मुख,
बना के उनको सीढ़ी मैं आगे बढ़ता जाऊं.

I do not ask to walk smooth paths
Nor bear an easy load.
I pray for strength and fortitude
To climb the rock-strewn road.
Give me such courage I can scale
The hardest peaks alone,
And transform every stumbling block
Into a stepping stone.
