God Intervenes Poem by Sylvia Frances Chan

God Intervenes

Rating: 5.0

God Intervenes

we have read,
we have heard,
we have seen,
with our whole being,
our ears have heard of it,
our eyes have read the words,
our eyes have seen the sight,
our whole being could imagine all that,
God is love
God forgives
all our sins

never forget that everything is within His Reach and Vision

for those who mock Him
it will end one day
no longer with floods as in the time of Noah,
but with fire

all who disobey,
will be in the fire
all on fire
the other side of His Grace,
we remember His saying in Gethsemane
about His disciples who fell asleep,
but they promised to stay awake until Jesus returned,
when Jesus came back, He saw everyone sleeping,
the spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak
