Good-Bye To Poem Hunter And Team.... Poem by Sylvia Frances Chan

Good-Bye To Poem Hunter And Team....

Rating: 5.0

My biggest thanks to Poem Hunter and Team....

just returned from Normandy
had ridden 2,175 km to there and back
with the greatest glee

been over the Horouville bridge
no horror bridge
from afar it looked like this
the French love such high roads and higher bridges

filled with happiness and glee
in my whole being
saw, spoke and played with my eldest grandson Vinhie
and his parents

now back home to the world of Poem Hunter,

how most disappointing
realizing
a biggest leap to a lower level,
but even that I am still humming

initially surprising and shocking
I was put on number one!

have defeated Rini
unconsciously with the greatest fun

then came Asim Sir, a very talented poet
with the greatest sympathy

he then remained number three

today everything is turned upside down

relegated to lower levels,
now I know and I have read
how sad

my time is ended here
I say with great gratitude to Poem Hunter and his friendly Team:

see you soon again maybe!

Thank you very much for your hospitality
and God's blessing greatest be! ....

As a goodbye poem this is emotive and expressive. But in reality you should not leave PoemHunter here and go away. Poem Hunter is a beautiful platform and hospitality is enough very good. Although we face rising and falling and we too face few malicious attacks, still we should write here and read beautiful poems. Anywhere we go, there we face some troubles and this is very common. But we should not bother at all.

We appreciate your all poems and effort of expression. We are happy to know that your Normandy visit was nice with your grandson Vinhie. Your all Normandy poems and Full Moon poems of September are very interesting. I have read these all. You are a nice poetess. This poem is excellently penned with deepest emotion of joy and grief....10

Your time is not at all ended here. You are Wonder Jasmine. Like sunrise you can spread fragrance of your wonderful poetry.Your time here is ever dazzling. You should not worry about bad persons's bad comments as you can remove these soon after seeing these, as I remove bad comments I receive everyday. We should always stay in calm and happy state.

Although causes of falling down we do not know or causes we do not of rising still, we should not bother at all to leave Poem Hunter. We should read, write and comment. But we should not emotionally attach with temporary things. We cannot control any malicious persons or we cannot change bad behaviour of others. We can control ourselves. We have trust on God. This is enough. We are not worried about what atheists think.

If there is sudden fall this disappoints a poet. This fall might be due to malicious intentional attack like cutting down of votes in poems giving only one or two marks and putting many, many dislikes in comments given to others and comments received, or by any means by any bad person or few bad persons. Sometimes such persons may apply some tricks from their many PCs available around them to pull down.

Yes, you had defeated a poetess named Rini Markle from UK whose name later changed as a poet who is in top as Robert M Smith from Australia in same profile. Later we read biography of this poet and knew that Rini Markle (A female name) was his pseudonym and country UK was pseudonym for Australia. We did not understand this fantasy. But we did not give mind in this context thinking that this is wastage of our time.
