Goodbye To Grief Poem by Asavri Dhillon

Goodbye To Grief

Rating: 5.0

A girl in red dress laced with black,
Was sitting with her hands folded,
And eyelids exposed.
Her lips were the reason of rose's softness,
Her silence made its colour bold.
The wooden table was wet, the walls too.
The water was salty.
So many seeds were sown,
Each grew into a beautiful plant.
With the tear drops resting on her tresses,
Her foot rests on a rock,
It helps her connect with mother Earth.
And her eyes continuously stare at a soul,
From head to toe. In search of a word
'Goodbye.'
The world shedded tears in the earthly
realms,
Below their feet daughter of mother nature,
Is ready to wipe your tears off.
Silent she is. But her soul speaks.
Listen to her voice. It whispers 'Goodbye to Grief.'
