Greatness In Your Arms (To Shyamala Gopalan) Poem by Practicing Poetess

Greatness In Your Arms (To Shyamala Gopalan)

Rating: 4.0

As you bottle-fed
Your baby daughter,
Were you aware that you held
Greatness in your arms?

Did you sense
That someday
Her destiny would impact
The lives of many?

Could you imagine
That she'd make history
And the world would cheer
For your child so dear?

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

'Were you aware that you held Greatness in your arms? ' - I think it's both way true. She held greatness in her arms, as well as she held a great and glorified future in the greatness 'of' her arms.
