Grey Matter

Rating: 4.3

Grey matter remains
A scarce resource rarely found
On political ground.

Nicely projected truth; that too in few words!

This is an excellent senryu poem, Sandra, on a that subject I am in complete agreement with you. Our tendency here in the States is to select a handsome candidate, either male or female, and not worry too much about their intellectual abilities, the complete opposite of what we should be considering! We seem more concerned with how they look than how their brain works! You brought this out beautifully in your senryu poem. Carl.

Touche. I think in politicians the only large thing is the mouth and jowls. Not jaws- jowls. (smile)

Sandra good idea. But scarce and rare mean the same. You can cut the last twwo words of second line.

Short, sweet and oh so powerful. The punch is packed with truth. Very well done. Thank you for sharing your talent with us :)

Very true Sandra, they are all a waste of time and tax payers money. Well said. Best wishes, Andrew
