POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I am pained by the happenings in Syria. An estimated 9 million Syrians have fled their homes since the outbreak of civil war in March 2011, taking refuge in neighbouring countries or within Syria itself. Just to protect Government and remain in power, to what extent a dictator can go is the classic example here.

We all are witness to this mishappening. Nobody can deny the facts. Two so called superpowers are playing dirty politics and the shameless King is enjoying the power at the cost of innocent citizens.Profound Haiku.

The spirit of global resentment and the magnitude of anguish is reflected in this small poem. Even without the Poet's Note linking it to the Syrian tyranny, this Haiku is an example of perfection in its own right. Thanks.
