Haiku Comments Poem by Madathil Rajendran Nair

Haiku Comments

Rating: 5.0

(These are some of my comments on the haikus of other poets at PH slightly altered where needed in order to let them stand alone.)

Cloud:

The cloud is in haste
It has to rain on the plains
Hot thirsty terrains

Peepholes:

Questions start with why
When, what and how – they all are
Peepholes that describe

In Orbit:

I remain unsent
Due to your gravity’s pull
Planet in orbit

Reality Of Life:

I don’t want to leave
But leave I must that is life
Sunshine, there is cloud

Carbon:

We are made of dust
Carbon therefore suits us best
Silicon can hurt

Pain:

Forgetful we are
Court pain again and again
‘Coz of ignorance

Tequila:

With salt on glass brim
Tequila is simply great
Hell with the liver

Sensitive Throats:

Even with hot drinks
Ice is pretty dangerous
Some sensitive throats

Water:

Two gases combine
A magic liquid is born
Blossoms of life bloom

Bread:

The bread is pretty
Send me a loaf fast pretty
Taste-buds are greedy

Ladybug (not a haiku) :

But why are they called bugs
When enchant is all they do
Unlike bugs and the lady of the house
Who bug us without a cease?

Poet (not a haiku) :

Tell me of what ethereal wine you are drunk
That so much poesy brims in your head
Like glowing glow-worms without a cease
Casting imagery day and night?
