'But we are just a pale blue dot in the sea of nothing. Everything we know and care about Is but nothing to the grand scheme' - a deep thought, to which I agree! A bit too long, but the poem could draw my attention up to the end.

Happiness, and or joy, do indeed seem more significant when shared. Congrats, Lee.

I am happier alone, But not happy without others. Happiness is best when shared. I know not the secret to happiness, But happy I can be.............. wise catastrophe to make the wheel in rest.

Your poem indicates that you are an introvert. Perhaps as time goes by, you will realize that, indeed, the best form of happiness is one that you get by sharing it with people around you. Remaining stuck in your own world is like being caught in a sand castle that is bound to crash any time.

Lee, a very good write. Based on a cliche, the poem travels deeply into self. One needs to try and understand why we feel the way we do. It may be a combination of genetics, the way personality is formed. And of course, the nature of our chemical-electrical mind, made of fat and water. Trillion synaptic snaps and billion neurons. It is like the universe perpetualy in flux the whole of life. Really, no one knows why we are as we are.++10
