You are a loving soul!
Your relationship with me goes beyond names,
A bond undefined,
Unwavering and unassuming!

Time has proved that you are
As beautiful as the silver moon,
As strong as the tall mountain,
As fresh as a tender leaf,
As fragrant as the jasmine flowers.

You have been my student of Mohiniattam,
An affectionate cousin sister,
Above all, a good human being,
Always kind, compassionate, helpful,
Ever ready to serve and support with joy.

A trip to Kerala,
Whether for dance recitals,
Or to visit temples of Kerala,
Would never have been complete,
Without your presence as a loving protection!

You are an ardent connoisseur of dance, music,
An admirer of poetry and poetic expressions,
A true believer in God and his glory,
A nature lover,
Sensitive to every magic on earth.

Dearest Lekha,
On this day, with great pleasure,
