Hate Me, If You Can - Poem by Ali Adamson

Hate me, if you can!

Hate the little star in the skies
When it falls down my eyes

Hate this fragrance.... I got
Collecting flowers... in the journey
From my inner to your heart!

Hate the words!
I learned... from the love...
Beats in the heart
When it whispers in my thoughts!

Hate the SONG of our soul!
Ever singing
' Where we unite......
' There is life
' There is fate'

You can hate!

There is a very profound message to these words. You state, and I think it may be overlooked, that hate is an act of will....Hate if you can. Love, acceptance....those are also acts of will. This poem is a great reminder that we all have profound choices to make. A great poem. (Report) Reply

I do not like to hate! It does not draw me, it does not grow me. It will reduce me though. A very well done poem, my friend, with much to contemplate in it. (Report) Reply

The title caught my eyes- - It is really an amazing write- - Hate can never win over Love.Love is as natural as the star in the sky or as sweet as the fragrance of a flower. (Report) Reply

A strong line! , hate is fine because it effortlessly can be done...but to love is more difficult because it is higher at many its okay if people hate us because it is the weakest thing they can do for least they tried...but love is the best in this community/world. (Report) Reply

    Where we unite
    There is life
Then it is left for fate to decide. I care, even if you don't. Beautifully delivered the message. Thank you.
