Heart Poem by Kesav Venkat Easwaran

Heart

The disciple asked the sage

‘What makes a perfect poet? '

‘His words- for they come from the heart! '

‘Then what makes a perfect heart? '

‘Well asked, reminded! Get me
The potion, my usual take! '

A poisoned disciple fares better than an unpoisoned one in that the venom travels well under the skin for keeps. arya
