Heart And Mind Poem by kanav justa

Heart And Mind

a mind, when it meets desire
it does, what water does to a fire
and a heart, when it meets the same
is a kerosene to a flame

there certainly is some truth to this poem, which you undoubtedly spent hours or days composing, despite your new job! but some fires are not extinguished by water! [think: electrical and oil i think] look at the fire extinguisher's labeling! a mix of heart and mind is better to use to deal with desires, i think. especially if the result of 'following your heart' is a not-so-great marriage, an unwanted baby, or an obese body (due to overeating/drinking) . :) :) bri
