Heatwave
A heatwave is sweeping across this land
As we drive along Carlow's country roads
Listening to Black Sabbath such a talented band
I have a sense of our unbreakable togetherness even with our heavy load.
You are oozing a sexual magnetism
A vibrant sensuality
Of the male power of attraction and mentality
I feel the bond we have swimming deeply in my soul
I think together we will grow old
With a dignity and the truth of our love
And to conquer our past
As the sun's rays beat down from bluest skies above.
The Blackstairs Mountains looms proudly, at ease
In it's raw and ancient beauty like a lustful tease
Mount Leinster rising the highest a warrior of truth
That will never cease,
The truth is an all consuming sensuality and reality
This heatwave is to save
Our broken past to heal us fast
The past is completed and deleted,
The tumbling hedges and briars hugging the country roads,
The mountains seem to be paying their respects to all the crops sowed,
As our two hearts touch and enfold
We strike out with a passion so bold,
We have discovered at the end of every country road
There is the promise of our eternal love
With challenges and arguments even with the bluest skies above
We will bask in the heatwave of our love
THE heat wave comes once in a way natures way to teach you how to be brave avoid dehydration have a cool drink too water in plenty take along with you when you may need it but not find it one never has a clue life it could save it if you had listened poet me too take care will you
