Heaven Impossible For Touch - Poem by Black Knight
Your image always run away from me
In grey and dense fog of monotony.
I all the time see how you disappear
Behind horizon, when I almost near.
You stretch to me a hand, but I can't snatch.
During one moment feel your fingers, cannot catch,
And then we from each other moves away
To come nearer even more someday.
The turbid stream of these week-days unwraps
Before my eyes a picture of collapse
Of a world that moves so fast through haze-
And, at the same time, stands on the same place.
Emotional nets, around me, start to expand
And narrow, and again, I can't defend
Myself, it threaten to absorb me into this
And drag away in black and deep abyss.
I see again your image, dim but fine.
We exchange glances, your fingers touch to mine,
But slip away. We separate for one more aeon,
And sacrifice it for the meeting once again...
