Here Lies Shaun Cronick Poem by Shaun Cronick

Here Lies Shaun Cronick

Rating: 4.2

Here lies Shaun Cronick...
One of the finest poets who ever died.
He died quite unexpectantly,
At the age of only 156.

An epitaph an ode to me,
Makes little sense self homily.
What matters now is not what's past,
But where I go to everlast.

I spend my days on earth divine,
I worked so hard I played sublime.
But now I'm dead and do recall,
The sweetest gift on earth of all.

The joy it gave I did adore,
With that love my heart would soar.
So Lord choose wisely where I'll go,
If with you or down below.

For without tea,
Where I dwell.
Even your Heaven,
Would be Hell.

Thanks Soran for your superb comment and Assam tea surely does it for me. A little bit of fun to make this world go round and a smile or two costs nothing. Take care and enjoy life with all its good virtues.

A unique humorous write Never read anything like this before. If I were Lord, I will let you dwell in heaven with a sea of tea. Beautifully crafted . Very entertaining specially the last stanza.

Thank you for your kind comment Rose Marie. As long as that sea of tea is glorious Assam tea then I'll be one contented voyageur! ! And I thank you again Rose Marie. Two sugars by the way.
