Hero - Poem by Andy P.Vo

when your hero falls
so do the flickering stars
your perceptions of a better day
leads only to deception and lies
why does it hurt so much
worse than a broken heart
my eyes can't cry
but the body doesn't lie
ive made too many mistakes
ive told too many lies
only if you saw what was inside
you would see a lost child
one who walks before he crawls
one who is falling apart
yet nobody can understand why
something so intricate yet intimate
now i can learn from the pain
believe in myself
take twice the steps, twice the breathes
reject simplicity
create the perfect opportunity
tell you im sorry for the wrong ive done
so maybe we can move on
then can peace come to my soul
