Everyone says hope is not found
but earned and if that
is true then i surely have no hope
but those who say that lie
for hope is found deep inside
your heart, Hope cant be
taken awa from you no matter
watso dont let someone
fool you into beleving you have
no hope for hope resides
with the lord and the lord resides
in all of us so there for
we all have hope
this poem is so holy! jkjk its awesome sometimes i feel hopeless. wen i do i eats ice cream so then i feel fat and hopeless lol its a wonderful poem
you said urself, hope is untouchable because it is within you and it will die with you. God gave it to you so he can only take it away. great poem and thought.
....Idealistically a hopeful poem.... Hope your wish fulfilled... Read your poem as you wished...
You speak of those who are christian for athiests its totally different story.
God, if he exists, exists independently of us (bible, dogma, church; religion) . The same can be said of hope. I am NOT a Christian, but I share the dream (eternal life) . Personally, I believe we only need philosophy and science to answer the religious questions. It is high time for an upgrade! Upgrade your evolution! Anyways, an inspirational poem! Hope is something that exists within us and not something that is deserved for being good dogs to a dogmatic system. I am an atheist and I believe in God too (not a contradiction: that which exists beyond the boundaries of nature (spacelessness/ timelessness) my not fall outside the logical system; think about it. Our notion of the “supernatural” is really ill-defined (that which cannot be explained? So you have a state that refuses to be explained by classical causality or “physical parts” and thus it must be magical?): thus when you call me an atheist, what are you really talking about?) , but my beliefs dwell outside the system; religious people cannot tell me that their faith holds the key; my key may be the right key too. Actually, I loved the poem; -) Anyways, what we mean by atheist etc. remains a question of definition.
