How Come? - Poem by Elena Reese

Wondering myself when i go to sleep, why people die? . It's sad, like the time my mom didnt have enough money for food. Why do people die? That is my question to God. He answered me with a red apple. People ask me why i write. I tell 'em that its me, it aint Alicia Keys, Taylor Swift. My question to you is why does every black person has to be discriminated. Bewteen you and me i was born from a white mother and a colour father. Why do you and me have to be judge? How come Hitler can't be juge. He killed my grandma like Mark David Chapman. How come God ain't helping leave the ghetto, and be the new pop sensation, is that alot to ask? How come blue tears are dropping down my face.Sometimes i think of you with my face down....
