How Life Goes By Poem by Jayne Louise Davies

How Life Goes By

Rating: 5.0

I look upon the photographs,
Placed neatly side by side,
My life right there in front of me,
How fast the years go by,
For there we sit upon the beach,
So many years ago,
Old age back then seemed out of reach,
No time for feeling low,
Such times were oh so precious,
For life, it just goes on,
Cherish every moment,
For once it's gone, it's gone.

The last two lines are key. Grab life - happiness while you can.
