How Many Ills Will A Smile Cure? Poem by Juan Olivarez

How Many Ills Will A Smile Cure?

Rating: 5.0

How many ills will a smile cure?
Perhaps none at all.
How many storms will a smile deter,
A tempest or a squall?

How many ills can a smile defuse,
Even if it's only one.
In a world full of raging storms,
One smile bright as the sun.

How many ills will a smile endure?
Through storms of wind and hail?
Through all the evil in the world,
A smile will still prevail.

A smile is like a tonic for the giver as well as the receiver. A caring and considerate write and you presented it well

Great poem. Smiling is contagious. If someone smiles at you, you can't help but smile back. We just don't know what effects one smile might have on someone.

You are so right. Smile is precious even if cures just one ill or none at all.
