When we close our eyes to sleep.
When we dry the tears we weep.
When we give up 'cause we're weak.
When we appear to be so meek.
When we speak words that can hurt.
When we dig inside our mind's dirt.
When we cry because we are lost.
When we live our lives at a cost.
When we dream a dream of peace.
When we go down on our knees.
When we reach for a helping hand.
When we wish to make a stand.
When we do the things we do.
We shall all return back to You...
