I Adore You Poem by Mary Nagy

I Adore You

I adore you….
For the pleasure
and the treasure
that can’t be measured.

That’s what you are.

I adore you….
For your kiss.
You never miss
these days like this.

It’s who you are.

I adore you….
For the years
you’ve wiped my tears
and stopped my fears.

That’s how you are.

I adore you….
My only love
sent from above,
fits like a glove.
What a man you are!

This should be your husband's Christmas gift...nothing could ever surpass that kind of tribute. Very nice, Mary. I loved your repeated rhymes. Raynette

I would say that your husband is blessed to have a wife who is also a fine poet. Sentiment should always be in style. Warm Regards, Sandra

Well, he's a real cuddly sort isn't he, if I were younger, I'd fancy him just looking at his photo. You can tell him a 'Granny' fancies him, mind you that might make him 'shudder' Ha! Ha! No he looks lovely. Hang on to him. Love Ernestine XXX
