I Am Tired Of Seeing Poem by Sayeed Abubakar

I Am Tired Of Seeing

Rating: 5.0

I am tired of seeing the beautiful earth
Getting damaged by those beasts who look like
Men too. All the thrones have been occupied
By those everywhere who have no souls, no

Love, no sympathy for men; they only
Reign with harshness and hatred; they don't care
Justice, morality, rationality;
Greed, lust, brutality are their weapons.

I am tired of seeing genocide after
Genocide on this beautiful earth where
Men, women and children are crying and dying,
Where killers are the heroes, where evils

Are considered good, fools are honored and
The Communal and the capitalist
Show their sharp teeth as if they were hungry
Sharks, hyenas, tigers or crocodiles.

so many of us are tired of being forced to see these things, the horror of crimes committed not just against nature, bur inflicted also upon our souls

Tired I am there when I find a namesake war on patriotism and killing innocent peoples Tired I am there when I find the shrewd politicians and religion scholars allow riots on the name of the crusade for their safe thrones Tired I am there when I find thousands of peoples are drying from starvation there at a time, others are busy to sacrifice the quadrupled domestic animals for namesake god

A strongly-worded poem against the evils and injustice in the world. Too many politicians are corrupt, although there are some good ones too. Recently I read some 'Time' magazines and I got tired of the picture they painted of the world-like your poem. I reject this world, I am tired of it.

We are going through a very time, may be heading towards the end. Lie is reigning over truth. All the negative forces are working their best. Man is behaving like a wild beast. His heart has turned to stone. A thought provoking poem. I don't see peace in near future.
