I Float These Words Poem by Kesav Venkat Easwaran

I Float These Words

Rating: 5.0

A rose, she gave,
of hope
a sign of silent prose
unspoken words,
I find inside arose

More than my present woes,
to her, I owe my heart
I add no hues no shades
these words tonight I float

As I walk along the beach
the sand under my feet beckons,
offers repose, invites me
To write her name across

Tides may come and go,
the sand may stay or not
I hold her name across
the shores- this my heart
no waves could wipe away
this beach- always intact!
