I Hear Thy Voice It Speaks To Me Poem by ANDREW BLAKEMORE

I Hear Thy Voice It Speaks To Me

Rating: 5.0

I hear thy voice it speaks to me
Like music through the air,
That sails across the lands and sea
And tells me you still care,
So sweet the melody does sound
So pure your gracious song,
For now I know true love I've found
And with you I belong.

Please guide me on my journey far
And ease my lonely pain,
Then I shall wish upon a star
To be with you again,
I call your name I hope it flies
Upon the wind so true,
Then love shall fill the evening skies
And find its way to you.

I hear thy voice although so weak
And now a fading dream,
That's winding from a lonely peak
Just like a gentle stream,
As streams flow into rivers then
They head unto the shore,
I hope that soon that I again
Shall be with you once more.
