Food and drink I have got,
and clothing [quite a lot].
A wife I have to cook for me;
best of all, she does it free! !
I'm healthy, …....at least today,
&, on P H, I get, at times, to play.
I've got a few dollars to spare,
& sunshine, & good water & air.

This is the time to count your blessings, though any time is a good time. Stay blessed and keep spreading the joy of your poems.
You may be ugly and gaunt, but you have all you want. Indeed you are blessed, so just give it a rest!
Indeed you are blessed with all these things and more. Above everything, you are a person who can count your blessings rather than grumple over what you haven't got.....! Not many have that quality. With Kingsley, I too wish- 'Stay Blessed'!
Dear Bri Edward, I am honoured that my private message to you attracted a public poem for the reading pleasure of Poemhunters members. I appreciate your poems and I am encouraged by them. Wish you bettet health, greater strength and inspiration to write more. Remain blessed dear Poet friend. Kingsley Egbukole

Yes, I agree with Valsa George, when blessings come you welcome with both hands and be happy, when brickbats, you are no less happy, A couple of times I tried to provoke you but failed, you are truly sthitaprajna of Bhagavad Gita. Hats off, I always find you in an up-going elevator, And I know not if to lift my hat in the elevator, Or elevate my hat in the lift.
