I thought the world would be no more
I felt the night would never be white
I thought I was driving ashore
I was drenched by a river of thought
I felt things were falling apart
I hoped life would at once reach the end
I hoped my gaze would be blank
When she said who am I
I was lost on the pages of love
I thought I was her yours truly
But I was sadly her full stop
I thought the cloudy sky would fall apart
I thought I was a calamity star
I cried out the world outta my thought
For I thought I misunderstood God's plan
I wished then that the air would hold its breath
I wished the stars are taken out of sight
But I never thought it was actually God's plan
In order to give me the best in life
Great poem. I feel you. With the opposite you have to persist.
Your poem is very inspiring, never to get devastated when rejected, and patiently wait for a better course, devised by God Almighty. 'I thought I was her yours truly But I was sadly her full stop' - ha ha ha, after a full stop, a new paragraph may begin!
