I Wish - Poem by Amelynn Sanchez

I wish I could explain what's always on my mind. And how my
feelings don't matter, and my heart fades away, and to why
it's always posted behind a brick wall; with wet cement and a shovel
in its hand. It's ready to guard whatever hated emotions tries to
pass through, and when my mind tells me, 'Alright get ready to throw
your hands up, ' cause the next battle is a hard one. I wish people
could see what I see, but most people are too blind to see. I wish
that people could understand how I would understand things, but I guess people don't comprehen much. To why my love is a joke, that's why I never try too much!
