You have got it rightly. Idolatory worship has its own significance. The Abstract is brought to tangible levels through images. Human mind needs it. We are all in the LKG class regarding the spiritual evolution and we need such mediums for a better mental evolution. This is one stage. There is no harm in seeing the Abstract Brahman within the level of personifications. Once attaining the truth, we need not see this kind of worship as something absurd. After passing MSc, will anybody say that LKG class is absolutely unnecessary? People have so many mis-conceptions. What to do? The main conflict between Hinduism and Islam is on the basis of this. Who can enlighten the Islam in this regard? Idols are like maps. Maps help us find places. After reaching Antartica with the help of map, will we throw it into the cold waters or hold them unto our chest with all reverence?

My impression was that of a man who is allowed by fate and seasons to achieve a grateful level of success. This evolution has been rewarding but as in all games a culmination is inevitable. My understanding is that the 'winking' of the angels and harbingers is the voice's realization (the fountainhead) of the nature of the game. There seems to be no pathos, yet no resignation, merely the joy of being able to play the game.
