Love would give this
excruciating pain of agony
Never would I have loved you...

Love would cake my cheeks dry with tears profound
Never would I have loved you...

If I had known that...
Love would sometimes make you feel that
you had never been trapped in its web intricate
Never would I have loved you..

If I had known that...
Love would sometimes make you wish
the earth to open up and swallow you alive...
Never would I have loved you..

If I had known that...
Love would sometimes make you
feel that you had never grown up
Never would I have loved you...

Yet if I had to choose between you
and the world...
My choice would be you and only you....
