If Mother Tells To Write Thesis
If mother tells to write thesis repeatedly,
Son should write it faster than repetition.
Reading and writing should be done daily,
Simultaneously care should be taken soon.
Data collection is finished, reading is on,
Radiation of sun has reflected power more,
Calculation is done already as per statistics,
Only writing thesis is left, it should be done.
Required research articles are published,
In reputed international journals of course,
As notified by University Grants Commission,
All are approved journals by this commission.
Being spiritual to mange life and teach others,
This is highly essential and son works for this,
He is in hope to bring out solution soon after study,
Managing stress in workplace is very important.
Mother hopes son will submit thesis soon,
As per time near exact date of fulfilment,
How can a son know worry of a mother?
Still we hope a son feels mother better.
If he writes his thesis and submit at time,
After evaluation and passing the via-voce,
As he has completed Doctor of Philosophy,
He will become soon Doctor of Literature.
God's grace falls on every creature and on him
Our bless is there with him with best wishes,
Overcoming every obstacle he will come up,
We offer our prayers for good of humanity.

Good to see encouragement and support from our loved ones who want us to be the best, but everything come with space and time, as a postgraduate myself...im tired working in the lab, challenged with weird results, sometimes things are unexpected to be here but a lil encouragement, space and understanding will make us feel better...not a pressure. Its not a race it is about how much we learn n earn in this period. Different cultures may go to different expectation and evaluation through the process, we love our mother and all who support us, but we cant ask plant to fruits anytime we want, we have to wait till its time and ready to have one. :)

The pursuit of knowledge may be a part of the personal agenda but it has a bigger role for humanity at large. Parents blessings and prayers provide the much needed impetus for achievement of a son's lofty dreams. Thanks for sharing this poem which stems from the parents deep sense of care for their son.
