If Only I Could See
I am a Poet
Romantic writer
Your secret admirer
A lover for you
For now and eternity,
Before us there are days
Of endless possibilities!
Do I speak to your heart?
Have you read my verses?
Your name is scribed
Between each line
I am the one who dreamt
Of you for so long!
I'll take you to Paradise
Encapsulated in my warm
Embrace holding you
So close to fulfill your
Deepest desires!
Within our solitude
Subduing the sadness
Of your past I'll give you
Everything an Angel
Should own so give me
The chance to change your
World to joyful ecstasy!
To make any other mistake
Would be my sorrowful woe
I invite you into my life
Let's form a bond that's
Unbreakable so strong
With mutual respect
Understanding together
As one united as
Husband and wife!
