Inamorata Haiku-Αγαπημένη Χαϊκού
The coldness of spring;
Does it make your heart shiver,
inamorata?
Άνοιξης ψύχρα·
Να τρέμει η καρδιά σου,
αγαπημένη;

I absolutely agree with the below mentioned comments of esteemed poetess (all are my favorite poetess!) . I was first wondering about the word 'inamorata''! well, this has been explained! A beautiful Haiku, loved reading it!
I love the use of the word ''inamorata'' - the etymology is of Latin (in love): thus, your haiku takes an air of seduction, of Mediterranean warmth of spirit.
Thanks for sharing the haiku...Spring is unkind in that it brings and takes away a lot of beautiful things.Kind of cruel. Well-penned.

Kalos, poem I love the sound of the Italian word inamorata as much as I do the Spanish word, enamorada. Your use of it reflects you singing heart and poet's ear. Bravo, well done!
