Indian girl,17, forced to give birth on the street

A 17-year-old girl who was abandoned by her family after falling pregnant has given birth on a street in India, according to local media reports.
The girl gave birth on the side of the road in Chandil, a town in the state of Jharkhand in eastern India. She was said to have been less than 100 meters from a health center.
A video publishedpurportedly shows the girl hunkered down with her baby in the street as cars and motorcycles pass by. The newborn, whose umbilical cord is still attached, is pictured crying as it lies wrapped in its mother's dress.

Insensitive,
Cruel.

Women passed by,
saw a woman struggling
on the street to give birth.

They did nothing..
They did nothing.
They did nothing.
Women? ? ?

She is poor.
She is ugly.
She has no home.
She has no food
or water.

umbilical cord not cut
the child cries on the street.
and the people pass by
even women pass by
cruel is this nation
insensitive, the people.
brutal, carless,
loveless.

Umbilical cord is still attached,
crying as it lies wrapped in its mother's dress.

Are we human beings
or devil's children?
Do we have mercy in us?
Do we have love in us?

God, your poor die on the streets.
God, your poor give birth on the streets.
God where are you?
Humans where are you?

She is poor.......almost everyone in India is poor and they have no money She has no home.....the other inhabitants most of them have no home She has no food......only the happy few have food......WHAT else could they do if they are poor too? The whole system is not good. The poor remains poor because they have no job and the very rich becomes richer, because of the caste system in the country. A 10 full Vote. G.B.U. Amen

God, your poor die on the streets.. God, your poor give birth on the streets. God where are you? Humans where are you? . Since Adam and Eve had been chased from the Garden of Eden, the human kind got his own will and plans and started to be ashamed being naked. They must struggle and suffer in their life. God never forbids what man intends to do with his life. So when man suffers, he must bear that himself. A 10 full Vote.

We forget what is happening in other parts of the world. Sadness felt with your words and picture. Also knowing the want of a child by many women and adoption is so difficult. May help be given to this young woman and her newborn child.

So sad! It is great shame that such insensitivity and cruelty prevail among the people of India. After all the girl is only seventeen and she must have fallen a prey to some thoughtless, lustful men. Her family should have protected her or the people who passed by her should have extended some help to her! Such incidents make us exclaim time and again.... How cruel is the world we live now! Shocking!

The Indian girl of seventeen abandoned by her family who gave birth to a child on the street helplessly is really a matter of Insensitive and cruelty. The men and women were passing by but no one stretched his or her hand to help. Attached to Umbilical cord the child was crying is much painful and inhumanity. Dear Dr tony, you have so heartrendingly and impressively delineated this matter in this poem. May God bless the poor and helpless. A brilliant poem, may be come to POD. Full vote.
