Innovators, New Horizons Poem by Sandra Feldman

Innovators, New Horizons

Rating: 5.0

In the Forest of World Nonsense,
The true Traveler does not stop,
He must chose his own way,
The way of the heart,
Even though it may go against
The grain of all others,
That never had the courage
To give life a full start,
The very conservative,
Who never dared to be
A bit bohemian and different,
Reaching for far away stars,
They were not the brave ones
Who went forward,
Bringing about change
And good Art.
But, Those that listened
To their positive heart,
Those not afraid to innovate
That never regretted
Not having looked back
Those are the winners,
That save,
Not letting progress
New creative Ideas,
Fall apart!
Opening doors,
Playing, great parts.

Sandra, I would not use a cliched heading. This poem has at its central point individualism. Faced by the status quo inspire your own artistic journey. All artists should take note.

Many of my 'heroes' are the great minds and dreamers of history.

Sandra, I really enjoyed reading this. Very inspiring. I'm afraid that I am not one of those brave ones you mentioned who went forward, bringing about change. I am one of those who sits safely back in the shadows, but your words make me want to change. Well done!
