Island
I am an island in a sea of people
Floating without notice
The waves of words echo in my mind
As they are crashing against
The beach of isolation is where I stand
Almost drowning in silence
I continue to wonder if I will
Get to voice my words
As I prevent tearing up
My heart is on the edge
As the night carries on, I remain silent
And leave with no one noticing

I think many can relate to this! .. Kinda like your mind is just racing and your heart feels like it'll explode with emotion while yet you remain still feeling like your in solitude..
