It Happened In Mae Sot.... Poem by Sylvia Frances Chan

It Happened In Mae Sot....

Rating: 5.0

It happened in Mae Sot,
the place designated by God

the monsoons are almost ending, no thunder
nor stormy weather,
another miracle happened today
God led them His way

as usual, my daughter-in-law goes to work,
brought by the driver of her office,
on the way to work, the driver collided
with another car that did not give them priority,
the driver has done everything to avoid,
so that no collision happened, but to no avail,
the car turned over,

all passengers were scrambled in the car
fortunately my daughter-in-law did not have a seatbelt today,
nothing was hurt against her belly,
because she was pregnant some 14 weeks
she really had nothing left of it.
she still had a chance to call her husband about the accident,
he should have taken her out of the car wreck
and brought her to the hospital for a quick check
because she was pregnant

no, nothing, absolutely nothing, just muscle pain.
from whom did she come up with the idea
of not using seat belts? And especially today? !

nothing had come up against her belly,
the baby in her belly was unharmed,
that was the result of the examination

other passengers have bruised and broken bones

it really makes me quiet

she was the only pregnant woman and totally unharmed
another great Wonder in my life

our youngest son had face-timed us from Mae Sot,
to tell all about this terrible car-accident

all this came through God for so many greatest Blessings,
another greatest Miracle in my life

that inspiration that my daughter-in-law got
so that she did not wear seat belts today came from God,
for sure

and all pieces fit exactly like in a jigsaw puzzle,
the circle is round....

In Gujarati, they say, raam raakhe tene kon chaakhe? Who'll him touch, protected who's by God as such? Subtle indeed be His ways. A poem beautifully narrated.

Indeed, how lucky your daughter in law and your future grandchild. God works in mysterious ways.! For those who have deep faith in Him, they will be assured of His protection. A wonderful poem that conveys life's miracles through Our Lord Almighty.

I am still praying each day for this greatest (again!) Miracle. Things that we cannot grasp with our healthy mind, and just occurred so quickest (that tremendous car accident in Mae Sot, my daughter-in-law was almost home, just from her work) . She was still alert enough to be (2)
