It Resonates..
You wish to say
still hold on
But the answer you dig
in those eyes
The words unsaid
still speaks
The silence in the air
resonates loud
Waves of emptiness
echoes in the heart
And loneliness
hovers above
Silence resonates- -I love the use of the word resonates- it has texture, emotional implications, depth. Word choice adds so much dimension as well as layers to the readers' experience of the poem. Well done!
