It Takes Two Poem by Aqua Flower

It Takes Two

When you want something
you don't give up
you look for more water in your cup
to replenish and refresh
to make together
that lasting happiness
but it takes two
to make the love we once knew
Sometimes it cannot be revived
we move on
we can longer live a lie

Must you always correct someone's imperfections. I am happy not to be perfect. I actually like when I do not do things perfectly. But so that it reads nicer, I will correct. (you can always inbox me instead of writing it on this page.) ...thanks...I like your first comment better.

NICE (for some, sad) poem. to MyPoemList. i have moved on three times! MORE if i count several women who i was NOT married to. hee-hee. OF COURSE, some of the women encouraged me (consciously or not) to move on. yes, some women have NO SENSE at all! bri :)

Hello, your comments always make me smile even when I'm sad. I'm a hopeless romantic. I believe relationships are not equal but they have to balance somehow or else everything will fall off the table! I'm creating the visual but I'm sure with all your EXPERIENCE you know this! :) Thank you for the informational comment above about the two bits!

Letting go can be so hard, but better the truth than the bitterness of a lie.
