Italy's Sea Poem by Rob Lamberton

Italy's Sea

Rating: 5.0

Take the steps with me
As the waves crash on the shore
Read the tides with me
Tides of love that spill over
They splash at your feet and heart

Feel the ebb and flow
Know the ways of the ocean
The constant water
Don't let the currents fool you
The ups and downs of waves

Don't run away now
Learn from the wet sands and rocks
The bounds of the sea
The sea cucumber beneath
Touch the sea anemone

Hold like a limpet
To rock as the waters flow
Or as the tide pools
Fall in love with the moon tides
Fall in love in Italy
