Krishna waits impatiently at the door of the creeper-laden abode, for his beloved Radha. Krishna is wearing a beautiful pearl necklace, an intricate hip girdle and clinging bangles. Radha stands shyly behind the flowery creepers watching Krishna. The friend, coaxingly, talks to the blushing Radha.
Your countenance radiant with a smile,
Amidst this magnificent thicket of greenery
is filled with ardent passion.
O Radhi! Do enter!
The ecstatic world of passionate love,
With your beloved Krishna!
Revel in the bed of freshly plucked Ashoka flowers,
With the swaying string of pearls
That touches the cool breasts.
O Radhi! Do enter!
The ecstatic world of passionate love,
With your beloved Krishna!
Your face and body immersed in love's flames,
Amidst the gorgeous greenery,
The drunken bee drones satisfied
with the sweet honey.
O Radhi! Do enter!
The ecstatic world of passionate love,
With your beloved Krishna!
When compared to these creepers and climbers.
You are tender and beautiful like a flower,
O Radhi! Do enter!
The ecstatic world of passionate love,
With your beloved Krishna!
The sweet- scented breeze of the mountains,
Echoes along with your melodious strains!
O Radhi! Do enter!
The ecstatic world of passionate love,
With your beloved Krishna!
Your teeth are like the white crystals,
More lustrous than this dense forest,
Where the Cuckoos coo charmingly!
O Radhi! Do enter!
The ecstatic world of passionate love,
With your beloved Krishna!
Your rounded hips voluptuously seated
long enough, on the flower filled woods.
O Radhi! Do enter!
The ecstatic world of passionate love,
With your beloved Krishna!
Jayadeva, the king among poets,
With the queen of his heart- Padmavati,
Enjoys a life of immense delight!
Together, they sing and dance,
The countless virtues of Krishna-
The destroyer of the evil Mura!
